One of the things I have enjoyed doing a lot of in the past few years is playing around with video to help market a product, event, idea, etc. Although by no means an expert, I have created a 3-part series (using Lawline.com videos I produced) to illustrate how to use video to market various aspects of your product by showcasing three approachable concepts to test the waters in video marketing.
Part 2: Why Use Our Product
Now that you have created a message through video from why the product is relevant (by showing it fulfills the consumer’s need), now is the time to discuss why your product (above other similar ones) is superior.
When planning your video sequence, think about 3 or 4 (max) main themes you want to get across. In the video above, the three themes were (1) a variety of content and topics that are (2) accessible through a variety of events and technology in (3) a timely and current manner.
Use repetition (usually in 3’s) to get the consumer to ask the questions you want them to ask. In this case it was “Why should I go with Lawline?” This also stamps the company name in the viewer’s head so they remember who you are.
A special thanks to Micah Bochart (Lawline Video Producer) for his filming and editing magic and Sal Forte (Artist) for his wonderful artwork and vision. Also a psecial thanks to the Lawline staff who participated.
