I asked my Google Home to play Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet Soundtrack. I was in the mood for a good throwback to the 90s. Instead, I was played Baz Luhrmann’s “Everybody’s Free to Wear Sunscreen.” I totally forgot it existed – don’t you love pleasant surprises?
Now, almost 20 years later, I sat listening as my two babies played on the floor around me. I remembered simultaneously how I took the advice back then, how I see this advice today, and what I would pass on to my little ones. Needless to say, this speech still holds up! Anyone else remember this song?
